Itinerary

Our travel companion will accompany you from your hotel in Marsa Alam to the airport in Hurghada by air-conditioned vehicle. From there, take a domestic flight to Cairo. There you will be greeted by a German-speaking Egyptologist who will accompany you throughout the tour.

1 day

The tour begins in the first capital of Egypt, the city of Memphis, 25 km south of Cairo. You will see the alabaster sphinx and the colossal statue Ramses II. Afterwards you will visit the necropolis of Saqqara. There is the most famous and oldest pyramid in Egypt, the step pyramid of King Djoser and the museum of the architect of the step pyramid, Imhotep. Then continue to lunch in a local restaurant, which is characterized by high quality service, cleanliness, hygiene and delicious specialties.

After lunch, visit one of the seven wonders of the world, the famous Cheops pyramid and the pyramids of Chephren and Mykerinos. Experience a fantastic view from the plateau and visit the great Sphinx of Giza. Before you check into your 5-star hotel, visit the Chephren Valley Temple. Before dinner you have the opportunity to admire the sound and light show on the pyramids. End the day with a relaxing stay in your hotel.

2 day

After breakfast you leave the hotel. You drive to the east bank of the Nile in Cairo. There you will first visit the Citadel of Saladin with the Alabaster Mosque by Mohamed Ali. From the citadel you have a very nice view over the whole of Cairo. Then it continues to the Egyptian National Museum, one of the largest museums in the world. Marvel at pharaonic treasures such as grave goods and jewelry. See the Tutankhamun's gold treasure, its mask and coffin.

Then enjoy a delicious lunch.

In the old town of Cairo, visit the Al Azhar Mosque (AD 972) and El Moaz Street (founder of the city of Cairo AD 969), the oldest street in the city. A visit to the Khan el-Khalili Bazaar in the old town of Cairo and a photo break in the Dead City round off the day. Then drive to Cairo Airport, from where you fly to Hurghada. There our travel companion will receive you and accompany you back to your hotel in Marsa Alam.

Payment Terms:

We accept the following currencies in cash: Euros, US Dollars, and Egyptian Pounds. Credit card payments are currently unavailable. Payment is due upon pickup.

Cancellation policy:

Free cancellation is possible up to 3 days before the start of the trip. After that, we charge a cancellation fee of 80% of the trip price.

Transfer surcharge

  • For hotels between Coraya Bay and Marsa Alam, we charge a transfer surcharge of €10 per person.
  • For hotels up to 20 km south of Marsa Alam, we charge a transfer surcharge of €15 per person.
  • Guests of the Fantisa Beach and Georgina Beach hotels pay a transfer surcharge of €20 per person.
  • Guests staying at the Crystal Beach Hotel pay a transfer surcharge of €25 per person.
  • Please note that the transfer surcharge is not automatically added to your booking. You will only receive the total price with your booking confirmation.
