Program for the Mahmya Island Snorkeling Trip Makadi Bay

1. Morning – Pick-up & boat trip
In the morning, you'll be picked up directly from your hotel and taken to the pier. Here, you'll board a comfortable boat, where you'll be greeted by the friendly crew. Your snorkeling equipment (mask and fins) will be provided, and you'll set off out onto the azure Red Sea.

2. Snorkeling in the Red Sea
During the trip, the boat stops at several snorkeling spots. Dive into the pristine underwater world, marvel at colorful coral reefs, and encounter exotic marine life.

3. Arrival on Mahmya Island
After the boat ride, you'll reach Mahmya Island. Explore the breathtaking natural landscape and relax on the fine sandy beach.

4. Lunch on the island
A hearty lunch buffet awaits you at a waterfront restaurant. Enjoy delicious food and refreshing soft drinks in this stunning setting.

5. Afternoon – Beach & Snorkeling
After lunch, you'll have time to explore the island further, snorkel in the clear waters, or simply enjoy the sun on the beach. A stroll along the beach and a cool drink will complete the day.

6. Return journey
In the late afternoon, the boat will take you back to the harbor, where your transfer to the hotel will be waiting.

Itinerary

We pick you up from your hotel in Sahl Hasheesh & Makadi Bayab with an air-conditioned vehicle, and drive about 20 minutes to the quay in Hurghada. From there you start your excursion on our ship. On the trip to Mahmya Island, you go on an incredible snorkeling trip of about 45 minutes. Our guide shows you many different fish and coral reefs.

Then drive to Mahmya Island. There you have lunch. You can swim and snorkel on the fine sandy beach. Parasols, loungers, a snack and drinks bar and toilets are available.

In the late afternoon, take the ship back to the quay and from there take the bus to your hotel in Sahl Hasheesh and Makadi bay.
