Itinerary
Day 1 Hurghada - Aswan
You will be picked up from your hotel in Hurghada / El Gouna / Sahl Hasheesh / Makadi Bay / Soma Bay and Safaga in the early morning by air-conditioned vehicle. and we drive to Aswan. The first thing you visit is the Philae Temple, which was moved to another island after the dam was built. They cross over to the island on which the temple is now located by motorboat. Then you drive to the quarry. There you see the unfinished obelisk of an unknown pharaoh. You will have lunch in a local restaurant. A visit to the famous Aswan Dam, built in 1960, rounds off the day. Then you drive to a 4 star hotel that we have reserved for you. After the check-in you have the opportunity to experience a sound and light show in the temple of Philae in the evening for an extra charge. At the end of the day, take dinner at the hotel. Enjoy a little rest and relax from the day.
Day 2 Aswan- Abu Simbul- Hurghada
After breakfast you leave the hotel. You will visit the two rock temples of Abu Simbel. The temples were built in the 13th century BC. Built under King Ramses II on the west bank of the Nile and relocated after the construction of the dam. Then have lunch at a local restaurant in Aswan. You will then return to Hurghada / El Gouna / Sahl Hasheesh / Makadi Ba / SomBay / Safaga.
