We will pick you up with an air-conditioned vehicle from your hotel in El Quseir, with which we will continue to Luxor. A competent German-speaking Egyptologist who is familiar with the history of Egypt will accompany you throughout the tour.
Arrived in Luxor, visit the Karnak temple on the east bank with the large columned hall, the Hatshepsut obelisk, the Thutmosis obelisk and the holy lake. Then we cross the Nile. In Thebes West, marvel at the famous Colossi of Memnon, which once stood at the entrance to the Temple of Amenophis III.
Then we drive to the oldest restaurant in Luxor, the Marsam Restaurant. The restaurant is located in the middle of the necropolis in the heart of Thebes, not far from historic Thebes. That is why it is very popular with artists, tourists and Egyptologists. The restaurant was originally built as the home of Abdulrasul, Egypt's largest antique dealer. Enjoy your lunch under the palm trees in the garden restaurant. The Egyptian dishes on offer are terrific.
Later you drive into the Valley of the Kings, where there are over 70 graves carved into the rock. You will see three of the most beautiful graves there. For a surcharge, you have the opportunity to visit Tutankhamun's and Ramses VI's graves. Finally, visit the Hatshepsut terrace temple complex.
