Early morning: Pick up from your hotel and drive to Luxor.
Late morning: Visit Karnak Temple, one of the largest religious sites in the world.
Afternoon: Explore the Valley of the Kings, the Temple of Hatshepsut and the Colossi of Memnon.
Late afternoon: Boat trip on the Nile and return to your hotel.

Your exclusive private Day Trip begins with us picking you up from your hotel early in the morning in an air-conditioned vehicle. You drive for about 4 hours through the desert and through the Nile Valley, past farmers' houses and fields. You will gain insights into the culture and history of ancient Egypt from a qualified Egyptologist.

Once in Luxor, drive to Karnak Temple. Admire the largest temple complex in Egypt with a variety of obelisks, hypostyle halls and ornate halls. Your tour guide will explain the individual buildings and the complex religious rituals to you.

After a hearty lunch at a local restaurant, enjoy a boat trip on the Nile. Watch the animals living on the Nile and the farmers working in the fields and enjoy the landscape from the water. Your guide will then take you to the Colossi of Memnon. They are the last remains of the Temple of Amenhotep III. and represent this.

Another highlight is the Valley of the Kings with its underground burial chambers of the pharaohs. The magnificent and mostly well-preserved wall paintings depict life in the afterlife. Your guide will explain the meaning of the many different hieroglyphs and symbols in three different tombs.

Great outing

All in all a great trip. Our guide is very good and very informative. Started the day at 5:00 am, we were picked up from our hotel in El Gouna in a private car. We went first to the Valley of the Kings and then to the Hatshepsut Temple. We then drove to a nice restaurant in an island of the Nile where we were offered a lunch buffet with traditional Egyptian dishes. We then went to the temple of Karnak. Overall, the day was pleasant and the tour guide was very friendly and accommodating. Gladly again, Thank you very much!
