Itinerary
We will pick you up from your hotel in Marsa Alam in the early morning with an air-conditioned vehicle. You embark on a 4.5-hour drive to Aswan. There you will first visit the Philae Temple, which was moved to another island after the dam was built. You cross over to the island in a motorboat. Then you drive to the quarry. There you see the unfinished obelisk of an unknown pharaoh. You will have lunch in a local restaurant. A visit to the famous Aswan Dam, built in 1960, rounds off the day. Then drive back to your hotel in Marsa Alam.
