Itinerary

We welcome you in the entrance area of the port in Safaga. You drive to Luxor in an air-conditioned vehicle. On your journey through the eastern desert, you will get a first glimpse into the ancient Egyptian history and everyday life of the Egyptians today. After reaching the Nile Valley, you will visit the Karnak Temple on the east bank of the Nile with the Great Column Hall, the Hatshepsut Obelisk, the Thutmosis Obelisk and the holy lake. Then take your lunch in a local restaurant.

After lunch you cross Nile to Thebes-west.

Then continue your excursion program in Thebes-West (Luxor). You will marvel at the famous Colossi of Momnon, which stood at the entrance to the temple of Amenophis III. Then you drive into the Valley of the Kings, where there are over 70 graves carved into the rock. You will see three of the most beautiful graves there. For an additional charge, you have the opportunity to visit the tombs of Tutankhamun and Ramses VI. Finally, visit the Hatshepsut terrace temple complex.

A perfect day, gladly again

On our tour with the AIDA through the Red Sea, we already booked a trip to Luxor from Zakhious Tours at home from Safaga. The many good reviews were crucial and we have to say we were not disappointed.
We were picked up reliably at the port. The guide provided us with a lot of well-founded information, which we had never experienced before. Ehab was super nice. We were a small private group of 6 people and were even able to determine our goals. The price even included a delicious lunch. Thanks for a perfect day.
