Enjoy a comfortable ride in an air-conditioned car to the city of Alexandria. We will pick you up from your hotel in Cairo or Giza and take you to the city which is about 3 hours away. Once in Alexandria, make your way to see some of the city's most fascinating attractions, including Pompey's Column, built in honor of Emperor Diocletian at the end of the 4th century, and the beautiful Qaitbay Citadel, built on the Site where the lighthouse of ancient Alexandria once stood.

Before you start the return journey, visit the fascinating catacombs that encompass the largest Roman cemetery. They consist of 3 levels and are cut into the rocks. Finally, visit the Alexandria Library.
