1 day to Luxor by plane from Cairo

Our Zakharious Tours guide will pick you up from your hotel and escort you to the airport in Cairo by air-conditioned vehicle. You are flying to Luxor on a domestic flight. There you will be greeted by a German-speaking Egyptologist who will accompany you throughout the tour.

Visit the Karnak Temple on the east bank with the large columned hall, the Hatshepsut obelisk, the Thutmosis obelisk and the holy lake.

Then we cross the Nile to West Thebes. There you can marvel at the famous Colossi of Memnon. The Colossi of Memnon once stood at the entrance to the temple of Amenophis III.

Enjoy your lunch in the Marsam restaurant under the palm trees in the garden restaurant. It lies in the heart of Thebes necropolis. This restaurant was once the home of a famous relative of Abdulrasul, the largest antique dealer in Egypt. The restaurant serves delicious starters and typical Egyptian specialties.

Later you drive into the Valley of the Kings, where there are over 70 graves carved into the rock. You will see three of the most beautiful graves there. For a surcharge, you have the option of visiting the Tutankhamun and Ramses VI tombs. Finally, visit the Hatshepsut terrace temple complex.

Our Egyptologist will escort you to Luxor Airport, where you will start your flight back to Cairo. In Cairo our tour guide will welcome you and accompany you on the way to your hotel.
