Itinerary

1 day

You will be picked up from your Luxor hotel in the early morning by air-conditioned vehicle. and we drive to Aswan. The first thing you visit is the Philae Temple, which was moved to another island after the dam was built. They cross over to the island on which the temple is now located by motorboat. Then you drive to the quarry. There you see the unfinished obelisk of an unknown pharaoh. You will have lunch in a local restaurant. A visit to the famous Aswan Dam, built in 1960, rounds off the day. Then you drive to a 4 star hotel that we have reserved for you. After the check-in you have the opportunity to experience a sound and light show in the temple of Philae in the evening. At the end of the day, take dinner at the hotel. Enjoy a little rest and relax from the day.

After breakfast you leave the hotel. You will visit the two rock temples of Abu Simbel. The temples were built in the 13th century BC. Built under King Ramses II on the west bank of the Nile and relocated after the construction of the dam. Then have lunch at a local restaurant in Aswan. Then you go back to Marsa Alam. On the way back you visit the Temple of Edfu, an ancient Egyptian temple complex on the western outskirts of the city of Edfu in Upper Egypt 130 km north of Aswan. The temple of “Horus of Edfu” was built from 237 to 57 BC. Chr built and is considered one of the best preserved in all of Egypt. Then drive back to your hotel in Luxor.
